VECV Sales Rise 7.8% in May: 7,978 Units

VECV sales increased by 7.8% in May, reaching 7,978 units. Domestic sales grew by 9.1%, while exports declined by 17.2%.
New Delhi, Jun 1 (PTI) Eicher Motors Ltd on Monday said its arm VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd has posted a 7.8 per cent increase in total sales at 7,978 units in May, as compared to the same month last year.
VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV), a joint venture of the Volvo Group and Eicher Motors, had sold 7,401 units in May last year, a regulatory filing showed.
VECV's domestic sales registered a 9.1 per cent growth at 7,375 units sold during May, as against 6,758 units sold in the corresponding month a year ago.
However, exports declined 17.2 per cent at 414 units sold in May 2026 as against 500 units sold in the same month last year. PTI RSN 1.0.
