Voltbek FY26 Revenue Rises 12% to Rs 2,509 Cr

Voltbek Home Appliances, a Voltas-Arcelik JV, saw FY26 revenue grow 12% to Rs 2,509 Cr despite widening losses. Learn about its market share gains.
New Delhi, Jun 8 (PTI) Voltbek Home Appliances' revenue increased 12.27 per cent to Rs 2,509.87 crore in FY26, even as its loss widened to Rs 273.92 crore, according to the latest annual report of the Tata Group firm.
The joint venture between Voltas and Turkish firm Arcelik sold approximately 3.3 million units in 2025-26, achieving volume growth, said Voltas.
The JV had recorded revenue of Rs 2,235.53 crore and had reported a loss of Rs 241.89 crore for the financial year ended March 31, 2025.
"Despite a subdued market environment, the business recorded a healthy growth of 12 per cent over 2024-25 and further strengthened its presence across categories and markets," Voltas Managing Director Mukundan Menon said, while addressing the shareholders.
He also said the profitability of the JV remains an "important area of focus".
"Our efforts are directed towards improving price realisation, deepening localisation, optimising logistics, strengthening portfolio mix and building greater operating leverage through scale," Memnon added.
In FY26, Voltbek continued to improve its market standing. In the refrigerator market, its share by volume increased from 5.5 per cent to 6.1 per cent, while the washing machine market share remained stable at 8.6 per cent.
"Voltbek also retained its strong no 2 position in the semi-automatic washing machine category," Menon said, adding that it "continued to play an important role in our long-term ambition of building a scaled and diversified home appliances business".
Set up in 2018, Voltbek operates in the home appliances segment, which includes refrigerators, washing machines, microwave ovens, dishwashers, and a growing portfolio of small domestic appliances.
Voltbek Home Appliances has a manufacturing unit at Sanand, near Ahmedabad.
"The business continues to operate at sub-scale profitability levels and will require sustained improvement in product mix, operating leverage, and cost structure to meet its financial objectives," said Voltas.
