Zinc Futures Decline on Weak Demand - PTI
Zinc futures prices fell 0.8% on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) to Rs 284.40 per kg due to weak demand from consuming industries.
New Delhi, Dec 2 (PTI) Zinc prices on Monday fell 0.8 per cent to Rs 284.40 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for December delivery traded Rs 2.30 or 0.8 per cent lower at Rs 284.40 per kg in 3,034 lots.
Analysts said the trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
