Zinc Futures Decline on Weak Demand - PTI

Zinc prices fell 0.03% to Rs 287.50 per kg on Monday, driven by weak demand from consuming industries. Speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.
New Delhi, Dec 16 (PTI) Zinc prices on Monday fell 0.03 per cent to Rs 287.50 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for December delivery traded 10 paise or 0.03 per cent lower at Rs 287.50 per kg in 2,563 lots.
Analysts said the trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
