Zinc Futures Decline on Weak Demand - PTI

Zinc prices fell 0.11% on Monday due to weak demand from consuming industries. Speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.
New Delhi, Jan 6 (PTI) Zinc prices on Monday fell 0.11 per cent to Rs 274.50 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for February delivery traded 30 paise or 0.11 per cent lower at Rs 274.50 per kg in 376 lots.
Analysts said the trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
