Zinc prices fell 0.33% on Wednesday due to reduced speculator exposure and weak demand from consuming industries, according to PTI.
New Delhi, Jan 8 (PTI) Zinc prices on Wednesday fell 0.33 per cent to Rs 272.75 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for February delivery traded 90 paise or 0.33 per cent lower at Rs 272.75 per kg in 614 lots.
Analysts said the trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
