Zinc Futures Decline on Weak Demand - PTI

Zinc futures prices fell 0.1% to Rs 254.20 per kg on Tuesday due to weak demand and speculation reduction, according to PTI.
New Delhi, May 20 (PTI) Zinc prices on Tuesday fell 0.1 per cent to Rs 254.20 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for June delivery traded lower by 25 paise or 0.1 per cent at Rs 254.20 per kg in 1,552 lots.
Analysts said the trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
