Zinc Futures Drop on Weak Demand - PTI

Zinc prices fell on Thursday due to muted demand from consuming industries, according to PTI. Speculators reduced their exposure, taking negative cues from the spot market.
New Delhi, Nov 30 (PTI) Zinc prices on Thursday fell by 0.4 per cent to Rs 223.80 per kilogram in the futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, taking negative cues from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for December delivery traded lower by 90 paise or 0.4 per cent at Rs 223.80 per kg in 3,256 lots.
Analysts said offloading of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
