Zinc futures prices fell by Rs 2.70 to Rs 367.40 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) due to weak demand and speculators reducing exposure.
New Delhi, Jun 18 (PTI) Zinc prices on Thursday fell Rs 2.70 to Rs 367.40 per kg in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for June delivery slipped by Rs 2.70, or 0.73 per cent, to Rs 367.40 per kilogram in a business turnover of 436 lots.
Analysts said the trimming of positions by participants, owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market, mainly weighed on zinc prices.
