Zinc prices decline in futures trading due to reduced exposure and weak demand from consuming industries. November contracts lower.
New Delhi, Oct 14 (PTI) Zinc prices on Tuesday fell 0.36 per cent to Rs 292.10 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for November delivery traded lower by Rs 1.05 or 0.36 per cent at Rs 292.10 per kg in 1,463 lots.
Analysts said the trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
