Zinc futures decline 0.39% to Rs 293.30/kg on MCX due to weak demand and reduced exposure. Analysts cite slackened physical market demand.
New Delhi, Oct 10 (PTI) Zinc prices on Friday fell 0.39 per cent to Rs 293.30 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for November delivery traded lower by Rs 1.15 or 0.39 per cent at Rs 293.30 per kg in 1,130 lots.
Analysts said the trimming of positions by participants owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market mainly weighed on zinc prices.
