Zinc futures prices dropped by 60 paise to Rs 362.75/kg on Monday due to weak demand from consuming industries and reduced speculator exposure on MCX.
New Delhi, Jun 8 (PTI) Zinc prices on Monday fell 60 paise to Rs 362.75 per kg in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for July delivery slipped by 60 paise, or 0.17 per cent, to Rs 362.75 per kilogram in a business turnover of 73 lots.

Analysts said the trimming of positions by participants, owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market, mainly weighed on zinc prices.
