Zinc futures prices ease on MCX due to weak demand and reduced exposure by speculators. April contracts slip 0.02%.
New Delhi, Mar 11 (PTI) Zinc prices on Wednesday fell 5 paise to Rs 328.80 per kg in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for April delivery slipped by 5 paise, or 0.02 per cent, to Rs 328.80 per kilogram in a business turnover of 78 lots.
Analysts said the trimming of positions by participants, owing to slackened demand from consuming industries in the physical market, mainly weighed on zinc prices.
