Zinc futures prices increase on MCX due to limited buying. February contracts edge up. Traders remain cautious awaiting triggers.
New Delhi, Jan 9 (PTI) Zinc prices on Friday rose slightly by Rs 2.55 to Rs 310.70 per kg in futures trade as traders stayed on the sidelines amid a lack of fresh triggers.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for February delivery edged up by Rs 2.55, or 0.83 per cent, to Rs 310.70 per kg with a business turnover of 1,425 lots.

Traders attributed the slight rise in zinc futures to limited buying at lower levels, even as a lack of fresh triggers kept overall sentiment cautious.
