Zinc Futures Rise on Demand: Price Analysis

Zinc futures prices edged higher to Rs 308/kg on MCX due to limited buying. Traders cautious amid lack of fresh triggers. January delivery.
New Delhi, Jan 1 (PTI) Zinc prices on Thursday rose slightly by 35 paise to Rs 308 per kg in futures trade as traders stayed on the sidelines amid a lack of fresh triggers.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for January delivery edged up by 35 paise, or 0.11 per cent, to Rs 308 per kg with a business turnover of 5,218 lots.
Traders attributed the slight rise in zinc futures to limited buying at lower levels, even as a lack of fresh triggers kept overall sentiment cautious.
