New Delhi, Jan 12 (PTI) Zinc prices on Monday rose slightly by Rs 3.45 to Rs 314 per kg in futures trade as traders stayed on the sidelines amid a lack of fresh triggers.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for February delivery edged up by Rs 3.45, or 3.45 per cent, to Rs 314 per kg with a business turnover of 1,594 lots.
Traders attributed the slight rise in zinc futures to limited buying at lower levels, even as a lack of fresh triggers kept overall sentiment cautious.
