Zinc futures climb on MCX due to increased spot demand. December contracts up Rs 3.05 to Rs 301/kg. Marketmen cite rising demand.
New Delhi, Nov 3 (PTI) Zinc prices on Monday rose Rs 3.05 to Rs 301 per kilogram in futures trade amid a pick-up in spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for December delivery traded higher by Rs 3.05 or 1.02 per cent to Rs 301 per kilogram with a business turnover of 460 lots.

Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries, kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
