Zinc futures prices rise slightly on MCX due to limited buying. Traders cautious amid lack of fresh triggers. Check latest zinc rates.
New Delhi, Jan 19 (PTI) Zinc prices on Monday rose slightly by 95 paise to Rs 317.55 per kg in futures trade as traders stayed on the sidelines amid a lack of fresh triggers.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for February delivery edged up by 95 paise, or 0.3 per cent, to Rs 317.55 per kg with a business turnover of 2,820 lots.
Traders attributed the uptick in zinc futures to limited buying at lower levels, even as a lack of fresh triggers kept overall sentiment cautious.
