Zinc Futures Rise on High Demand - MCX

Zinc futures prices increase on MCX due to high spot demand and widening positions. October delivery up 0.14% to Rs 283.65/kg.
New Delhi, Sep 15 (PTI) Zinc prices on Monday rose 40 paise to Rs 283.65 per kilogram in futures trade amid a pick-up in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for October delivery traded higher 40 paise or 0.14 per cent to Rs 283.65 per kilogram with a business turnover of 1,448 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
