Zinc Futures Rise on High Demand - PTI

Zinc prices rose on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to increased demand from consuming industries. The November contract traded higher by Rs 2.30 or 1.03 per cent at Rs 225.85 per kg.
New Delhi, Nov 6 (PTI) Zinc prices on Monday rose Rs 2.30 to Rs 225.85 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick-up in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for November delivery traded higher by Rs 2.30 or 1.03 per cent at Rs 225.85 per kg with a business turnover of 3,921 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
