Zinc Futures Rise on High Demand | PTI
Zinc prices rose 40 paise to Rs 278.80 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to increased demand from consuming industries.
New Delhi, Nov 25 (PTI) Zinc prices on Monday rose 40 paise to Rs 278.80 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick-up in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for December delivery traded higher by 40 paise or 0.40 per cent at Rs 278.80 per kg with a business turnover of 2,394 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
