Zinc prices on Thursday rose 85 paise to Rs 272.65 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick-up in spot demand, driven by increased consumption in industries.
New Delhi, Feb 13 (PTI) Zinc prices on Thursday rose 85 paise to Rs 272.65 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick-up in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for March delivery traded higher by 85 paise or 0.31 per cent at Rs 272.65 per kg with a business turnover of 716 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
