Zinc Futures Rise on High Demand

New Delhi, Jun 23 (PTI) Zinc prices on Monday rose marginally to Rs 253.70 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick-up in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for July delivery traded higher by 40 paise, or 0.16 per cent, to Rs 253.70 per kg with a business turnover of 2,310 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
