Zinc Futures Rise on Strong Demand

New Delhi, Mar 5 (PTI) Zinc prices on Tuesday rose 85 paise to Rs 217.35 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick up in spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for March delivery traded higher 85 paise or 0.39 per cent at Rs 217.35 per kg with a business turnover of 4,261 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
