Zinc Futures Surge on Strong Demand | MCX

Zinc prices climbed on the MCX due to rising demand from consuming industries. November contracts gained 0.94% to Rs 290.95 per kg, driven by increased market activity.
New Delhi, Oct 23 (PTI) Zinc prices on Wednesday rose 0.94 per cent to Rs 290.95 per kilogram in the futures trade amid a pick-up in spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for November delivery traded Rs 2.70 or 0.94 per cent higher at Rs 290.95 per kg in 1,550 lots.

Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants, following a pick-up in demand from consuming industries kept zinc prices higher in the futures trade.
