RAS PROPACK LAMIPACK LTD. - Record Date for Scheme of Amalgamation

Essel Propack Ltd (EPL) has informed BSE that it has fixed September 12, 2012 as the Record Date for the purpose to determine entitlement of shareholders of Ras Propack Lamipack Ltd pursuant to the Scheme of Amalgamation of Ras Propack Lamipack Ltd (RPLL) with Essel Propack Ltd. as per the Modified Scheme sanctioned by the Honorable BIFR. <br/><br/>- Upon the coming into effect of the Scheme, and in consideration for amalgamation of RPLL with EPL, EPL shall issue and allot shares to all the shareholders of REL in the following proportion :<br/><br/>Allotment of new equity shares of EPL of Rs. 2/- each to the shareholders of RPLL as per the share exchange ratio i.e. 10 shares of face value Rs. 2 each of EPL in exchange of 165 Equity shares of RPLL of Rs. 10 each.
