ALLAHABAD BANK - Appointment of Part Time Non-Official Director on the Board of Bank

Allahabad Bank has informed BSE that in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section 3(h) and (3-A) of Section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition 8s Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970, read with Sub clause (1) of Clause 3 of the Nationalized Banks (Management & Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970, the Govt. of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services vide their Notification dated April 25, 2016, have nominated Shri Gautam Guha as Part-Time Non-Official Director on the Board of Directors of the Bank for a period of three years from the date of notification of his appointment or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
