Andhra Cements Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on August 11, 2014, inter alia, has approved the following:<br/><br/>1. Accepted the resignation of Shri Manoj Gaur from the office of Director/Chairman of the Company in view of the restrictions on number of Directorships under the Companies Act, 2014.<br/><br/>2. Appointed Shri K. N. Bhandari as Chairman of the Company.<br/><br/>3. Co-opted Shri Sujit K. Mandal as Additional Director and appointed as Managing Director of the Company with immediate effect.
