BHARTI AIRTEL LTD. - Updates on Buy-Back of Equity Shares

With reference to earlier letter dated April 27, 2016 w.r.t. approval of the Buy-back by Board of Directors of the Company, Bharti Airtel Ltd has now informed BSE that the scheme of amalgamation of Augere Wireless Broadband India Private Limited, (Augere), a wholly owned subsidiary with Bharti Airtel Limited is under consideration for approval by the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi. Therefore, pursuant to the SEBI Buy-back Regulations all actions in the matter including the public announcement, will be undertaken once the scheme has been disposed-off.
