Britannia Industries Ltd has informed BSE that pursuant to the decision of the Board of Directors of the Company to dispose off the closed factory land located at Padi, Chennai (Property) after negotiations with various prospective buyers, the Company has on July 10, 2014 sold the said Property for an amount of Rs. 172 Crores.
