CIPLA LTD. - Announces Q2 results

Cipla Ltd has announced the following results for the quarter ended September 30, 2014:<br/><br/>The Unaudited Standalone results for the Quarter ended September 30, 2014<br/><br/>The Company has posted a net profit of Rs. 3360.70 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2014 as compared to Rs. 3760.30 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2013. Total Income has increased from Rs. 24295.50 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2013 to Rs. 25128.70 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2014.<br/><br/>The Consolidated Results are as follows:<br/><br/>The Unaudited Consolidated results for the Quarter ended September 30, 2014<br/><br/>The Group has posted a net profit after tax, minority interest and Share of Profit / Loss of Associates of Rs. 2986.80 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2014 where as the same was at Rs. 3580.60 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2013. Total Income is Rs. 27905.90 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2014 where as the same was at Rs. 26065.40 million for the quarter ended September 30, 2013.<br/><br/>"Pursuant to acquisition of 75% additional stake, Mabpharm Pvt. Ltd. (Mabpharm), hitherto an Associate, became a subsidiary of the Company on July 17, 2014, Accordingly, the above results for the current periods includes the relevant results of Mabpharm from the date Mabpharm became subsidiary of the Company and therefore the corresponding figures for the previous period are not comparable."
