DENA BANK - Cessation of Director

Dena Bank has informed BSE that in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3)(h) and (3-A) of Section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings ) Act, 1970 / 1980 read with sub-clause (1) of clause 3 of The Nationalised Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970/1980, the Central Government, vide notification dated October 12, 2011 had nominated Shri. Rakesh Goel as part time non-official Director on the Board of the Bank, for a period of three years from the date of notification or until further orders, whichever is earlier.<br/><br/>As per above notification, the term of Shri. Rakesh Goel, ceases as a Director on the Board of the Bank w.e.f. October 12, 2014.
