HINDUSTAN UNILEVER LTD. - Circular Resolution passed by Board of Directors - Calendar of Events for Postal Ballot

With reference to the earlier letter dated March 11, 2014, wherein the Company had informed that the Board of Directors has approved the appointment of Mr. P. B. Balaji as the Executive Director, Finance and IT and Chief Financial Officer of the Company, Hindustan Unilever Ltd has now informed BSE that the Board of Directors, by a resolution passed by circulation, have decided to seek the consent of Members of the Company for the above proposal of appointment of Mr. P. B. Balaji as the Executive Director, Finance and IT and Chief Financial Officer of the Company, through Postal Ballot. The Calendar of Events for the proposed postal ballot process is attached.<br/><br/>The Board of Directors has also appointed Mr. S. N. Ananthasubramanian, Practising Company Secretary, to act as the scrutinizer, for conducting the postal ballot process.
