Jaiprakash Associates Ltd has informed BSE that Unit-1 of 660 MW of (3 x 660 MW = 1980 MW) of Bara Super Critical Thermal Power Project, being implemented by Prayagraj Power Generation Company Limited (a subsidiary of Jaiprakash Power Ventures Limited which is also a subsidiary of the Company) has successfully commenced commercial operations on February 28, 2016.
