JSW STEEL LTD. - Acquisition of 99.85% fully diluted equity stake in Welspun Maxsteel Limited ["WMSL"] by JSW Steel LimitedBR_TAG

With reference to the earlier announcement dated August 18, 2014, whereby the Company had intimated that JSW Steel Limited ["the Company"] has entered into a definitive agreement with Welspun Enterprises Limited ["WEL"], pursuant to which the Company shall acquire the entire equity shares held by WEL in WMSL subject to relevant regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions.<br/><br/>JSW Steel Ltd has now informed BSE that the approval of the Competition Commission of India has since been received for the acquisition of WMSL by the Company.<br/><br/>The Company on October 31, 2014 has completed the acquisition of the entire Shareholding of WEL held in WMSL.
