NTPC LTD. - Updates

NTPC Ltd has informed BSE that 500 MW unit of Vindhyachal Super Thermal Power Station (Stage V) shall be declared on commercial operation w.e.f. 00:00 Hrs of October 30, 2015.<BR><BR>With this, the total commercial capacity of Vindhyachal Super Thermal Power Station, NTPC and NTPC group will be 4,760 MW, 38442 MW and 44443 MW respectively. Vindhyachal Super Thermal Power Station will also become largest operating power station in the India.
