Rural Electrification Corporation Limited has been conferred with the following awards for the financial year 2014-15, by Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE) on the 8th Public Sector Day function held in New Delhi on April 11, 2017:- i.SCOPE Excellence Award for outstanding contribution to the Public Sector Management - Institutional Category I (Maharatna & Navratna); and ii.SCOPE Meritorious Award for Best Managed Bank, Financial Institution Category. Dr. P. V. Ramesh, CMD, REC and Shri Ajeet Agarwal, Director (Finance), REC received the awards from Hon'ble President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee in the presence of other dignitaries.
