SYNDICATE BANK - Preferential allotment of shares In favour of Government of India

Syndicate Bank has informed BSE that upon receipt of funds from Government of India, the Bank has, on January 13, 2014 allotted 2,26,34,676 (Two Crore twenty six lakh thirty four thousand six hundred and seventy six only) equity shares of face value of Rs. 10/- each for cash at a premium of Rs. 78.36 (Rupees Seventy eight and paise thirty six only) determined in accordance with Regulation 76 (1) of SEBI (ICDR) Regulations aggregating to Rs. 199,99,99,971.36 on preferential basis to Government of India.
