TATA POWER CO.LTD. - Updates

With reference to the earlier announcement dated August 19, 2014, regarding the Company had intimated about the order of Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (MERC) issuing Transmission License and Distribution License to the Company for the next 25 years with effect from August 16, 2014.<br/><br/>Tata Power Company Ltd has now informed BSE that BEST had filed an appeal in Appellate Tribunal for Electricity (APTEL) again this order of MERC. This appeal has been dismissed by APTEL.
