ULTRATECH CEMENT LTD. - UltraTech Cement Ltd reply to clarification sought by the exchange

The Exchange has sought clarification from UltraTech Cement Ltd with respect to news article appearing in Mint on October 15, 2014 titled "ULTRATECH to bid Lafarge's Brazil asset."<br/><br/>UltraTech Cement Ltd replied stating:<br/><br/>"In the course of business, the Company evaluates various proposals on a regular basis. There is no proposal which has reached the stage which would trigger Clause 36 of the Listing Agreement.<br/><br/>We would, as in the past, promptly inform you of any event or information that may have a bearing on the performance / operations of the Company."
