WOCKHARDT LTD. - Wockhardt Ltd reply to clarification sought by the exchange

The Exchange had sought clarification from Wockhardt Ltd with respect to news appearing in Business Line on May 15, 2015 titled "Wockhardt Recalls BP tablets from US."<BR> <BR>Wockhardt Ltd replied stating "We would like to state that the Company had already informed the exchange on April 28, 2015 about recall of products. The recall stated in the said article forms part of the same.<BR><BR>Further, the Company keeps the exchange informed about events, information etc. including price sensitive information in accordance with regulatory requirements. In present case, we do not have any important information / announcement to be shared.<BR><BR>In the event that there is any development that requires disclosure under Clause 36 of the Listing Agreement, we will make the same in accordance with the regulatory requirements."
