Aartech Solonics secures a significant order from Qatar to supply Current Limiting Protectors (CLP), expanding its presence in the Middle East energy market. The company also reports strong financial growth and ongoing defense projects.
New Delhi, Jul 9 (PTI) Heavy electrical engineering solution provider Aartech Solonics on Wednesday said it has secured a strategic order from Qatar to supply its Current Limiting Protectors (CLP), marking its foray into the Middle East energy market.

However, the company did not disclose the value of the order.

The Qatar order signifies the company's strategic entry into the Middle East, addressing the region's growing demand for resilient and efficient power technologies, a company statement said.

The Current Limiting Protector, Aartech's premier innovation, is engineered to enhance circuit safety by swiftly mitigating excessive current flows, it stated.

According to the statement, this cutting-edge solution prevents equipment damage, reduces downtime, and ensures operational continuity in critical applications.

Known for its robustness and reliability, the CLP is gaining traction across key sectors, including renewable energy, industrial automation, data centres, and smart grid infrastructure, the statement said.

It also stated that the company has successfully completed a high-profile power infrastructure project for Java Power in Indonesia.

The Indonesia project involved the deployment of advanced Bus Transfer Systems to bolster grid stability for Java Power, reinforcing Aartech's footprint in Southeast Asia.

On the domestic front, Aartech strengthened its market leadership with a major order for SCADA-enabled Control and Relay Panels from Chhattisgarh Power, reflecting robust demand for advanced grid solutions in India.

Additionally, its BestCase division delivered customised rugged tool cases (IP-rated enclosures) to the Indian Air Force and Indian Navy, demonstrating its expertise in defence-grade equipment.

Aartech's net profit surged 110 per cent to Rs 2.73 crore in FY25 against Rs 1.30 crore in FY24, while sales rose 11.03 per cent to Rs 36.35 crore compared to Rs 32.74 crore. This performance reflects the successful execution of strategic initiatives and market expansion, as per the statement.

"The Indonesia project and Qatar order exemplify our commitment to global excellence. Coupled with record financial growth, these milestones validate our strategy of delivering innovative solutions for critical infrastructure worldwide. We are accelerating our international presence while advancing defence and power technologies," a company spokesperson said.

Looking ahead, Aartech will scale global operations in power switching and protection systems, advance defence R&D projects, including the Electro-Magnetic Launch System (EMLS) and Adaptive Alternate Power Module (AAPM), and leverage patented innovations across renewables, defence, and smart grids, it added.

Aartech is undergoing validation trials for its Adaptive Alternate Power Module (AAPM) for armoured vehicles/artillery, with a patent filed with the competent authority.

The company also advances its Electro-Magnetic Launch System (EMLS) with R&DEE Pune, focusing on propulsion and naval deck integration for aircraft/drones.

Headquartered in Bhopal, Aartech Solonics specialises in high-reliability power control systems and defence technologies. With four decades of expertise, it serves utilities, defence forces, and global industrial clients, emphasising innovation and quality.
