Aluminium prices fell on Wednesday due to reduced demand from consuming industries, with participants trimming their positions in the futures market.
New Delhi, Feb 19 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Wednesday slipped 85 paise to Rs 259.50 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in March fell 85 paise or 0.33 per cent to Rs 259.50 per kg in 2,459 lots.

Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
