Aluminium futures fell on Friday due to weak demand from consuming industries. Prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange closed at Rs 243.30 per kg.
New Delhi, Dec 13 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Friday slipped 55 paise to Rs 243.30 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in December fell 55 paise or 0.23 per cent to Rs 243.30 per kg in 2,890 lots.

Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
