Aluminium futures prices fell on Friday due to weak demand from consuming industries, according to PTI. Participants reduced their positions, leading to a decline in prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange.
New Delhi, Mar 21 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Friday slipped Rs 1.40 to Rs 259.20 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in April fell Rs 1.40 or 0.54 per cent to Rs 259.20 per kg in 1,557 lots.

Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
