Aluminium Futures Drop on Weak Demand - PTI

Aluminium prices fell on the Multi Commodity Exchange on Monday due to reduced demand from consuming industries. The January contract closed at Rs 204.50 per kg.
New Delhi, Jan 9 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Monday declined 95 paise to Rs 204.50 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in January fell by 95 paise or 0.46 per cent to Rs 204.50 per kg in 4,223 lots.

Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
