Aluminium prices fell on the Multi Commodity Exchange on Friday due to weak demand from consuming industries and traders cutting down positions.
New Delhi, Feb 16 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Friday declined 30 paise to Rs 199.75 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in February fell 30 paise or 0.15 per cent to Rs 199.75 per kg in 2,845 lots.

Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
