Aluminium prices fell on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to weak demand from consuming industries and a declining trend in the spot market.
New Delhi, Jan 25 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Thursday declined Rs 1.25 to Rs 201.90 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in February fell Rs 1.25 or 0.62 per cent to Rs 201.90 per kg in 4,074 lots.

Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
