Aluminium futures decline on MCX due to weak spot market trends and reduced demand from consuming industries. September delivery prices fall.
New Delhi, Sep 1 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Monday declined 25 paise to Rs 254.95 per kilogram in the futures trade as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in September fell 25 paise or 0.1 per cent to Rs 254.95 per kg in 4,125 lots.

Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
