Aluminium prices declined on Tuesday due to weak demand from consuming industries, leading to a fall in futures market prices on the Multi Commodity Exchange.
New Delhi, Jul 23 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Tuesday declined Rs 1.05 to Rs 214.10 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in August fell Rs 1.05 or 0.49 per cent to Rs 214.10 per kg in 3,456 lots.

Analysts said cutting down of positions by participants on easing demand from consuming industries mainly kept aluminium prices lower.
